Actually, I've got one box where I have mod_jk.so (the 1.1.0 version that comes with 3.3.1) talking very nicely to the Jk2 CoyoteConnector running in 4.1.13. The nice thing about mod_jk at the moment is that you can mix-and-match native and Java versions freely.
