Hi, Damn, I was just about to suggest 1.4.1_01 ;) I've had that error happen before on JDK 1.3 on Solaris, not W2K. The problem was I hadn't installed the OS-level patches required by Solaris for that JDK version. So I don't know if this applicable to your problem...
