Looks like you conmmented out the wrong connector. The one you have removed is identified as the one for port 8009, which is the one Apache uses. Restore that connector and comment out the one that is identified as for port 8080.

"Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

Is there any way to prevent people from accesing http://mydomain:8080 and
leave AJP 1.3 as the only Connector ?
