Hi, I have xercesImpl.jar and xmlParserAPIs.jar files in E:\Tomcat 4.1\common\endorsed directory and followed the instruction by Jan-Michael and I am still getting the exception. I had earlier integrated tomcat 4.1.18 with Apache 2.0.43. and it was working fine and a few days back I started getting these exception when I started tomcat and therefore I did fresh installation of tomcat 4.1.18 and still I am getting the same exception. I am working with windows 2000
