Hello Timo, no, it won't work on Windows. It will on Unix because Jikes on Unix supports the -encoding option. For whatever reason, it isn't supported on Windows. Until that time, it will not be usable on Windows. See the Jikes site for details. Look in the bug reports to find a better description on this problem.
