Paul, this tool will do the job when running TC as Windows-Service: http://web.bvu.edu/staff/david/tcservcfg/
HTH, Yann after assigning the following environment variables the java runtime options as follows: eg: JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx128m -Xms128m tried with: CATALINA_OPTS JAVA_OPTS amount of RAM memory used stayed aprox the same. Though i was expecting more memory to be used because of the extra memory that should have been allotted to java instance for Tomcat. Consequently, i am assuming that options were not applied by simply setting these environment variables, at least when Tomcat is started as a service. Where and how are java runtime options to be specified with Tomcat 4.1 (JDK 1.4.2) when it is started as a win2k service?
