Thanx, I've already solved this - for 2 physical machines, both W2k server, with IIS as HTTP :-) serving static content and Tomcat serving JPSs and servlets on another machine.
It takes a few moments to configure and it seems working fine. :-) The problem I had, was to find a sentence saying clearly "it can be done" before taking some testing. But now I can say: "it can be done easily" :-) Milan -----Original Message----- From: John Turner [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, July 31, 2003 2:46 PM To: Tomcat Users List Subject: Re: Apache2 + Tomcat on different machines Yes, this is easily done. If using mod_jk.so, then change the .host parameter in workers.properties to be the IP address of the machine where Tomcat is installed. That is the only change from having Apache and Tomcat on the same machine. I don't use mod_jk2.so, so I can't speak to that environment.
