1. Install Gentoo with install-amd64-minimal-2008.0-r1.iso
2. Format and mount partitions
3. Download Hardened Multilib Stage3 : 
http://gentoo.osuosl.org/releases/${ARCH}/2008.0/stages/hardened/ 
4. Download latest portage tree
5. mirrorselect -i -o -r >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf (mounted root partiotion 
to /mnt/gentoo)
6. mirrorselect -i -o -r >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf
7. chroot in new enviroment
8. nano /etc/portage/package.keywords
9. add "sys-kernel/hardened-sources"
10. emerge hardened-sources grub
11. cd /usr/src/linux && make menuconfig
11. setup /etc/fstab and grub
12. set password
13. reboot

I've tried the overlay, then i have emerged "ccs-sources" (2.6.27-r7).
"make menuconfig" fails, "make -s menuconfig" works !?
The problem with the ccs-sources, that i dont have any Grsecurity/PaX support, 
which i want also to use.

Regarding Gentoo, a layman repository is available.
