I've been using tomsrtbt for a couple of years now, and have found it an
excellent tool. Thanks!

Recently, I have had a need to activate nfs file handling under tomsrtbt. I
can do this rather clumsily by putting the necessary files on a second
floppy, and loading them once tomsrtbt is up and running.

However, it seemed like a good opportunity to learn a bit more about building
systems by building my own modified version with the necessary files in place.

I've downloaded the rpc.* files from the website, and made up a suitable
/etc/exports and /etc/hosts file. Everything works fine when loaded
seperately. The problem arises when I try and build a modified disk. I
understand that /usr is full, and that I need to make space for my extra
files.

I've deleted ce and elvis from 2/usr/bin, and added the three rpc files
(which in total are smaller than the files I've deleted). This should create
the necessary space. Unfortunately, it doesn't! buildit complains that I have
-18 sectors free, and refuses to build. If I delete another file (say emacs)
it then says I have -108 sectors free!. In other words, the more I delete,
the more my system is overflowing! This is obviously illogical!

I'm clearly missing something here, but have no idea what! Any clues wound be
much appreciated!

I'm using version 1.7.250

BTW, I notice that you have been asking about resierfs support. YES PLEASE!
