to avoid referencing lang/gcc* build failures. That seems
to no longer happen, likely because such a -static-libgcc
related config test may not be executed any more during
the lang/gcc* build.

But directly doing such a compile/link with the type of
trivial program involved in the config test still shows
the same type of error message as the config test did
in the original submittal.

I expect this means this submittal can be closed and
activity can be at the new bugzilla entry.
