The GCC 3.4.3 included in Solaris/OpenSolaris contains the port to
Solaris 10/amd64 done by CodeSourcery to support the initial bringup of
Solaris 10 on amd64, before the Sun Studio port to amd64 existed. This
work was done in a branch of the main GCC repository and later went into
the FSF GCC 4.0 release.

I'm currently going through GCC mainline (to become 4.5.0) testsuite
results on Solaris 10 and 11, fixing problems along the way. More work
is coming for 4.6.0 once 4.5 has branched. This is part of my `job' as
Solaris GCC maintainer:
