Hi,
The "ON Tools Hg Conversion Project" is now open.
NOTE: The name has changed.
In setting up the project, it was determined that it really needs to be
about "SCM Migration" in general. Some tools will need to work on both
Mercurial and Subversion, some migration tools will need to be
developed, resulting tools will need to be able to be used by groups
beyond ON, etc.
So the new project name is: SCM Migration Project
daily_update is listed as an annoyance (to put it mildly) in the ON
tools page, but essential on the migration project page? Surely it
can't be both...
Some other notes...
o hdrchk
This is purely a matter of teaching it 'the other' keyword format.
If the format remains what was initially chosen. I have part of this
done, though it currently accepts either SCCS or new-style keywords.
Not particularly practical without having keywords for Mercurial
implemented, however.
o findunref
Needs default exclusions for hg/svn
Currently only checks files under SCCS control by default, this would
need to expand to files under $SCM control (or to check all by
default, though I'm not sure of the implications there).
o wx
In the case of mercurial, it would be easier to implement this in
terms of an extension than to modify the existing script.
However, obviously that won't work in the case of subversion.

This is used as described in SUNWonld-README. It creates the ld(1)
