CTF (PSARC 2001/021) was created because the existing symbol interfaces were too bulky to carry around in the kernel. I don't think I care which format wins this contest, but I would like to see Sun commit itself to the minimum number of formats necessary to do the job (one if possible), and to full support for the formats that it does need. Having to depend on unstable interfaces and conversion utilities is a nuisance at best. -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 35 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ tools-discuss mailing list tools-discuss@opensolaris.org
