When I first integrated mercurial, hgk didn't work -- I think we had a downrev version of Tcl/Tk at the time, so it didn't make sense to put it anywhere else. But it's not clear where it *should* go. The help for the extension says it can just go somewhere in your $PATH, but I wouldn't really want to do that, since it's not really intended to be run standalone. I could patch the extension to look for it where it is, to reduce the amount of config you have to do, I suppose.
