I misunderstood --- I thought you rebuilt the application and then
got this result. You're saying that the existing old objects are
failing when run on a new version of Nevada?
Mapfiles are used by the linker when it builds an object, but
have no role beyond that. Whatever is going on here likely has nothing
to do with the mapfile syntax, old or new.
Try this:
% elfdump -H libapr-0.so.0
and show us what it says. Is this object available on SWAN?
