Thanks to all from you. My 10 minutes interval readings were only a trick to skip over my "continuously listening" unskillness. I'll study a little bit the socket stuff and your code, then - I guess - I'll ask you again for details/troubles. :-) Consider that I'm VERY slow when learning new routines.... and presently I've no idea about what precisely is "a socket". :-) Alex
