It is now possible to access toolserver.org via SSL, e.g. <https://toolserver.org/~river/>. This is otherwise identical to normal HTTP access. Unfortunately, because of how this is implemented, it's not possible to require that SSL be used for a particular page, or for a CGI script to check if SSL is in use.
