Jim, Your points about understanding grey line propagation is right. I know that they have been on almost everyday working just that. If you have a great circle map located on your QTH you will see a very great difference in paths between FT5ZM and TO7CC. FT5ZM was almost a East West path and TO7CC is North South Path right through the intensity of the auroral oval.... a much more difficult path by far. So I don't think I can expect to hear TO7CC as easily as I did FT5ZM.
