Yes I agree, and the problem I also found was that even though the
pacific Island dxpedition has Top Band ssb on their band plan, when I
have asked the cw op to try an ssb qso, when their cw qso rate is close
to zero, they usually reply "sorry, no microphone" or "sorry, others are
sleeping".
And so I will probably never make DXCC on Top Band phone. Such is
reality of life. :(

enough to check those nights or spend all your time monitoring them you will
miss it if the pilot stations would announce on the reflector a day ahead of
the planned 160 ssb date and time they would have a lot better response and a
lot more people would have a chance to add a new one on 160 ssb
