Hi Fredd et al, I used to have the NCC-1 and a few years ago I bought the NCC-2 which is working vfb for me. It is sturdy and allows me to phase a few different antennas to get rid of local and even more distant noise. GL Len SM7BIC

I've had good results with the NCC-1, essentially the same circuitry with switching added to make the main antenna one of the inputs. Its performance is documented here. There's also a tutorial on how phasing units work to steer an array or to cancel noise. http://k9yc.com/VE3DO.pdf 73, Jim K9YC _________________ Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband - Topband Reflector _________________ Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband - Topband Reflector
