Gm All
As promised during my recent 160m History talk at the Dayton Topband Dinner, a
number of updates have just been added to my personal website K1ZM.com  Most of
these may be of interest to those who operate on Topband and perhaps to 160m
contesters as well.
I am listing them below in case any of these may be of interest to you the
reader:
1) YouTube links are included to the three (3) segments of my Dayton "History
of Dx'ing on 160m" speech delivered at the Topband Dinner on 15 May 2026
Special thanks to Tim Duffy, K3LR for making that possible a month or so ago!
2) PDF format of my actual slides used in the PPT presentation are also
available if viewing the speech in its entirety is not desired.
3) As promised, there is a LINK to the Stew Perry W1BB 160m BULLETINS covering
the years 1931-1982 inclusive.  (Topband afficiandos pls note THERE IS A GOLD
MINE of 160m history included in these bulletins!  Most everything that ever
happened with 160m Dx'ing over the years is reviewed in these bulletins written
by Stew Perry W1BB!)
4) Included is a photo of W1BB's 1912 "spark-gap" transmitter plus a short
video of Stew's spark-gap xmitter in  actual operation.
5) A recent photo of Stew Perry's GRANDSON (Bob Perry) is available for
viewing.
6) Under the VIDEOS tab, there is some excellent aerial video footage shot by
Ray Higgins, W2RE of the VY2ZM contest station as it existed in September 2009.
These are the most important website additions which have just been added and
are now available for viewing.
73 and thanks for the BANDWIDTH!
Jeff  K1ZM/VY2ZM (and current Trustee of the W1BB callsign) which is activated
by the Stew Perry Memorial Radio Club from time to time in 160m contests.
