Andriy,

we may need to see the details of your ontology. Try the following to compare 
your solution to one that works: 

1) Load the kennedys ontology from the Examples folders
2) Find foaf under Common and drag it into the Imports view
3) Make :photo a subPropertyOf foaf:depiction
4) Select some Person with an image, e.g. EdwardKennedy
5) Switch to the Graph and you should see his picture
