sorry for the confusion, I was putting you on the wrong track with the
config preference - that is indeed just for the language selection drop
down box. The language used for labels display depends on the browser's
locale. I have in my Chrome set German to the default and do get
consistent behavior - always the "de" label is preferred. My setting
looks like
I also tried the same with putting "Dutch" highest and it then prefers
the "nl" labels.
BTW I furthermore cannot reproduce the issue of language config values
not "sticking", see
Did you press "Save Changes"?
