Hi Steve, There are many layers that can bottleneck requests as you describe. Some may be out of the context of the webapp itself (TopBraid).
Can you describe if Tomcat is directly being called for these requests - or - is there a proxy frontend, such as Apache httpd?- if so what are the Apache VirtualHost (vhost) configs? What version of TopBraid is being used? What are the specifics of the tomcat and it's host? eg: JVM memory parameters, host details such as CPU and memory specifations.
