Hi,
In fact, I would be happy to share my java profile at least with the mailing
list ;)
So I will put my profile in a plug in, that's seem heavy but why not. I
would be easier to need only a .uml file ...
In fact the only question is for images because if a plug in does not manage
images correctly a .uml file is a good solution.
atos team some advices ?

Hy,
I read "TOPCASED 5.0.0 UML/SysML features tutorial", I designed an UML
profile for Java and I set images to stereotypes.
I wonder how to package the .uml file and images files in order that
someone else can use the profile with the images ?
As I'm working on packaging a profile too I can share my experience so far.
The profile needs to be packaged in an eclipse plugin. Tristan gave some
inputs in this mailing list. With a plugin you don't need to load the
resource.
With a plugin you wont have issues with sharing your models in a Team.
For the picture aspect I tried several things:
platform:/plugin/<pluginname>/directory of pictures/picture.png does not
work and I don't understand why. According to eclipse documentation it
should get the picture from the plugin but it
does not.
platform:/resource/<project name>/directory with picture/picture.png Works
if the picture are in a local project (not in the plugin)
If someone knows how stereotype icons can be referenced in an UML profile in
a plugin I would be glad to get the example.
I mean, if someone want to use my profile, he will use the "load resource"
menu item and will load the .uml file but what about the .jpg file ? Is
there a way to put images in a profile file ?
If you want to share your profile put it in a plugin.
Another question, is there a way to display icons corresponding to
stereotypes in the "toolbox" part ? Like that a user who wants to use the
stereotype has just to drag and drop the icon and he does not need to use
the "stereotype" and "stereotypes attribute" properties part.
Don't know.
Kind regards,
Andre E.
