Right, and it looks like there's no such internal escaping going on. If I enter `contact:"John Doe"` into Atlas' search bar, I see a request to `https://onionoo.torproject.org/summary?search=contact:"John Doe"` going out. That request is a 400 so far, but that's what we would change on Onionoo's side.
