No one is stopping you from doing that, exactly. The point is we were in contact with Startpage and they said explicitly they are not happy with us using their search engine. E.g. what does "work with" mean in this context? And why and how can Amazon track all the searches? We have mailing lists for discussions like that, e.g. tor-talk.
