Don't they have cookie auth set up already, but they put the cookie into a place that you, the nyx user, can't reach? > But it might require discussing DisableDebuggerAttachment and tor's CookieAuthFileGroupReadable default. Yeah, I definitely don't want to try to teach users to poorly reconstruct part of the debian config just so they can run nyx as a different user.
