#27209: replace absolute links (in the wiki) ----------------------------------+-------------------------- Reporter: traumschule | Owner: Nusenu Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Medium | Milestone: Component: Community/Relays | Version: Severity: Normal | Keywords: onion tor-hs Actual Points: | Parent ID: Points: | Reviewer: Sponsor: | ----------------------------------+-------------------------- The wiki (and probably the website as well) has a lot of absolute clearnet links to for example https://trac.torproject.org and https://torproject.org with the effect that visitors of the onion address are channeled away from it.
One way to solve this is to replace absolute links with relative ones, for a start in the [[TorRelayGuide]]: - https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/PluggableTransports/obfs4proxy should be written as /projects/tor/wiki/doc/PluggableTransports/obfs4proxy For links between subdomains this is more complicated until something like {{{Alt-Svc}}} is implemented or some other (less spooky than cloudflare's) dns4tor solution (see discussion in #21952) pops up. For now, please let's just replace absolute links in the wiki. :) -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/27209> Tor Bug Tracker & Wiki <https://trac.torproject.org/> The Tor Project: anonymity online
