#12716: Make meek-client-torbrowser take the firefox command as a parameter ------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: dcf | Owner: dcf Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Low | Milestone: Component: Obfuscation/meek | Version: Severity: Normal | Resolution: wontfix Keywords: | Actual Points: Parent ID: | Points: Reviewer: | Sponsor: ------------------------------+------------------------- Changes (by dcf):
* status: needs_revision => closed * resolution: => wontfix Comment: meek-client-torbrowser is specialized for Tor Browser's needs, and at this point that's not going to change. My position is the same as it ever was: if other deployments need their own specialized integrations, they should develop and maintain them separately. If there's a need for a program that works with a non–Tor Browser Firefox, then it can be a fork of meek- client-torbrowser—but I do not want conditional compilation or anything like that that disables the Tor Browser–specific parts like copying profiles around in the same program. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/12716#comment:37> Tor Bug Tracker & Wiki <https://trac.torproject.org/> The Tor Project: anonymity online
