#25456: tor's systemd service should SIGHUP tor on resume/thaw after sleep/hibernate -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: isis | Owner: (none) Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Medium | Milestone: Tor: | unspecified Component: Core Tor/Tor | Version: Severity: Normal | Resolution: Keywords: packaging, systemd, configuration, | Actual Points: 034-triage-20180328, 034-removed-20180328 | Parent ID: | Points: 1 Reviewer: | Sponsor: -------------------------------------------------+-------------------------
Comment (by arma): In theory we should not need to do this -- in theory Tor should wake up on its own, when it gets a request, and realize it needs to re-bootstrap or whatever. So, what is it that Tor does from the sighup, which it should be doing automatically?
