Comment (by acat): I created https://github.com/EFForg/https-everywhere/issues/19102 and https://github.com/EFForg/https-everywhere/issues/19101 to address the issue mentioned in comment:39 and some other issue for which we have a workaround in the code. I think these would be good to be addressed, but not strictly a blocker for nightly.
