Here is what the Canonical Ubuntu team asked me to do (which is why I
filed this bug just now):

This sounds like an issue in the browser's behavior, rather than with
Unity or Ubuntu. Please report this in TOR's bug tracker
(track.torproject.org) and if they instruct you to report it here, open a
new ticket here.
