Hm. https://github.com/mxcl/homebrew/blob/master/Library/Formula/tor.rb points to tor-0.2.3.25.tar.gz, and was last updated 5 days ago. I don't know too much about MacOSX or brew, so I can't help. I did write the instructions on the tpo website though, so I feel kind of guilty.
