you mean that you've turned Tor off? By turning off Torbutton, you
disable Tor in FF (not just Torbutton). If that's what you did, can't
tell if Torbutton was the problem or Tor itself.

What I don't understand is why TB blocks Hotmail's functionality when it runs
in the browser.
