In the late 1990s people upset with the trend of requiring accounts on Internet sites started a convention of signing up as user "cypherpunks", password "cypherpunks". Sometimes, if this account got deleted, they would follow up with "cypherpunk/cypherpunk", "cypherpun/cypherpun", and so on. This often still works today. -- Seth Schoen <sch...@eff.org> Senior Staff Technologist https://www.eff.org/ Electronic Frontier Foundation https://www.eff.org/join 815 Eddy Street, San Francisco, CA 94109 +1 415 436 9333 x107 _______________________________________________ tor-talk mailing list tor-talk@lists.torproject.org https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-talk
