Each client picks 3 nodes randomly (with the 1st one being from a set of chosen once and kept long-term "Guards"), then builds a so called circuit to route a new connection via them. So a structure of the bulk of the network is a formless cloud (the word everyone loves so much), with maybe some silver lining representing Exit nodes. -- With respect, Roman
