Correction, Azureus Vuze has both TOR and I2P modules built in, and by some definitions, Vuze is relatively end user friendly, and an older but functional version can be installed in Debian using your package installer of choice. Vuze provides a SOCKS proxy option with it's I2P module, and a wiki page on how to configure firefox to send all its DNS queries through the proxy, see: https://wiki.vuze.com/w/I2PHelper_HowTo But I still recommend running your privacy browser in a VM, perhaps using Whonix.
