From twitter i heard of https://onion.lu/ .

Tor2web is growing very fast! :-)

I tried it, but it does not seem to work :|.

Ah, no I realise what is happening. I am getting redirected to the
.onion address, because I was connecting to it from the IP address
of a Tor relay.

It's quite dumb that tor2web does not make a distinction between Tor
relays and exits.
 Open a ticket! :P

Anyhow i'd like to point out that the onion.lu guy is at least
suspicious .
He came from @ johnrooster11 on twitter with only 1 tweet to us,
asking to became part of the mirror list.

He have a lot of supposedly-fake-followers and following.

His IP is in the same ip hosting provider of the anonymous onion.sh .

 He disabled the Tor2web disclaimer.

Hi all,

Onion.lu admin here. I've been running the Tor2web mirror for ~a month now, and since the proxy has been very stable with no downtime, I thought it would be a good idea to include the site on the mirror list. I would like to answer some of the good questions raised by Fabio.

That twitter account is just a random login from bugmenot.com/view/twitter.net. I thought it was the best way to get a response, since I already emailed [email protected] about a different subject with no response. :)

I am hosting the proxy with Prometeus since I already had an idle VPS with them. Also, M from Prometeus told me that they allow running Tor2web proxies on their VPS plans.

 He disabled the Tor2web disclaimer.
I turned the Tor2web banner off because it doesn't work properly without javascript and IMO it's not very useful as it is currently. I am however considering re-enabling it in the future.

My apologies for sounding so suspicious. I hope this sheds some light on the situation.
