Mickey,

your calls for a new release have been read. It makes no sense whatsoever to repeat them a dozen times.

May I remind you that Torque is a project which consists of voluntary contributions. Speaking only for myself, almost all of the work I do for Torque is done in my spare time, so I take the liberty of going at my own pace.

Then, I would like to make sure that the new release is stable. This means that I want to look at the open issues and see if they can be resolved before taking any other action.

Oh, before I forget it, the code change mentioned below actually IS released in Torque 3.1.1

Guys,

We really need to release a new version.
There are many people who use the version they see released, and are
suffering from bugs fixed two years a go...

The JndiDataSourceFactory has changed a lot since 3.0.2 Did you try to
use the version from CVS ? I did not look deeply into it, but I see no
reason to test for isEmpty() in the specified place in the current
version. I might be wrong, though.

Hello developers,

I tried to use commons configuration 1.1 with torque 3.0.2.

If I did so, an exception was thrown that a null object can not be
bound to the specified reference.

I found the reason for this in JndiDataSourceFactory.initDataSource.

Testing Configuration c != null is not enough. It is also nessesary to
test c.isEmpty.

I don't know if this is the only place to modify code, but it is one
place.
