Hi Bryan, I wasn't here for the kickoff of the DB PMC, so I really do not know if there is a special process for voting on and accepting committers for the sub-projects. In JDO, we have always voted on private@db and I could not find anything in the DB bylaws (does DB have bylaws?)
So I'd like Thomas to acknowledge that we are using the same process that most other PMCs use.
