I guess what I am saying is that with an application framework like
Struts, you have to actually bend over backwards to get a NULL value
from a form submission since forms submit parameters as strings
(unless they are missing).  So I am just trying to think if NULL is
actually ever really needed except for integer columns that need to
be empty.
