Thanks for testing Steve. Yes adding http:/ / URL works fine for me. I could 
add it, and I checked in the mercurial.ini file, it is correctly saved.

BUT OK I GOT IT FOR SURE THIS TIME !! YAHOO!!

So after further test it seems sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't I 
narrow down the different cases until I found that if you use the "J" character 
(upper case) in the alias name, the alias is not saved in the mercurial.ini.

So if your alias is named "Jack" for example you're dead...

In the extreme case, if you just name the alias "J" it also doesn't work.

A name like "Liu Ding Jun" (the name of my colleague doesn't work either...

This time I'm quite sure you can regress this bug....

Note that I didn't try all the letters and all the possible characters so I 
don't know if some other characters have the same problems.

Sorry for not narrowing down faster this bug.
