Yeah we probably need some long thinking before doing something, because I'm
sure you want to have a consistent behavior and still have a quite intuitive
one.
Like you said in issue {{{#!55}}}, for me who come from tortoiseSVN, this
behavior is quite intuitive. I think I like your proposal in issue 55 of a
button to go to the root.
Your proposal in the message above may be interresting, however I'm not sure if
this feature will be visible for the user, especially the user who are not fan
of shortcut keys.
I also have another proposal: maybe you could launch repo diff if the right
click was done with no folder selected. For example if you do a right click not
directly on a folder name or icon (it depends which view you use in your
explorer), but in an empty space of the explorer, then you may launch the repo
diff. But this is just a proposal I'm not sure of it. Maybe the expected
behavior is a diff of the current folder if you click in this free area?
Anyway, if I have a better idea, I would let it know... :-)
