Issue 361: access to shared networkfolder between xp & Win 7 RC1 doesen't work anymore http://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/stable/issue/361/access-to-shared-networkfolder-between-xp-win-7-rc1-doesent-work
Adrian Buehlmann / abuehl on Fri, 3 Jul 2009 13:37:44 +0200: Comment: Sounds more like a file sharing bug in Win 7, as we don't do anything magic when accessing\\ files on a network share. Although it might take a very long time when the share\\ is not responding. You can try disable the overlay icons for network shares: Right-click the Mercurial icon\\ in the taskbar (on the far right) and select "Options..." from the context menu.\\ In the dialog window (titled "TortoiseHg Taskbar") checkmark "Local disks only"\\ (in tab "Options"). This should stop the shell extension from scanning network shares. "Local disks only" is off by default, meaning the shell extension will scan network\\ shares per default. Changes: status: new -> open responsible: nothing -> tortoisehg component: nothing -> overlays -- This is an issue notification from bitbucket.org.
