I liked this feature since I use mercurial both alone or in the same working directory of a svn repository. In this last case I liked the ability to disable overlays in order to not to conflict with tortoisesvn iconcs. PS:a little "bug"/inconsistency in the global options dialog. When I uncheck 'Enable overlays' it disables the 'Local disk only' option. But if I close and open again the options dialog the 'Enable Overlays' checkbox is unchecked but the 'Local disk only' checkbox is enabled now. -- This is an issue notification from bitbucket.org.
