New issue 384: Commit single file / folder http://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/stable/issue/384/commit-single-file-folder
fabse on Fri, 10 Jul 2009 11:06:40 +0200: Description: I know there are some issues about the timing of commit dialog, but this is more a special part of this and based on 0.8 and a enhancement :) When I right click on a file and choose commit, the commit dialog opens with only the selected file. That’s good if you want to fast commit a minimal change. Would this be possible for folders to? At the moment when I right click a folder the complete project files are shown for commit. This would be nice if you wok on different modules and want to make your commits grouped by modules… do you have a kind of filter for the commit dialog that could do this? But there is also an issue with the the single file commit. I have a few thousand uncommitted files (i.e. after a build or model generation). So it’s obvious that the full commit dialog needs some seconds to pop up, but even the single file commit needed around 5 seconds in my case… maybe you are still checking all pending files or something?
