I'm ok to have the relative path be forced as absolute path from the repo root, but the problem is that when you edit the global settings, then HG thinks the repo root is "c:\Documents and Settings". So it's a bit strange... Maybe that means you can not set a relative path alias for **global settings** and can only set relative path alias for **repo settings**?
