There is code in the changelog tool that tries to detect whether the shell has given us the name of the CWD or whether it has given us a file or directory you would like to browse. It would be confused by a trailing slash. I suggest you wait until 0.8.1 is released and see how it fares. There's been some bug fixes in that area of the code.
