It looks like the problem should be solvable, but it also looks like
the most recent nightly build should have worked.. so I don't know
what to think, except that maintaining Python apps on Windows is going
to give me grey hairs long before my son does.

Until I can my hands on a machine that reproduces the problem, and
thus I can prove I have a fix for it, I'm going to punt and go back to
Python2.5 for the nightly builds.
